Hooftrimming Ltd. was founded in 2005 by Steve Jones to offer farmers and vets nationwide with a timely and comprehensive hoof-care service. Through years of technical and practical experience, Steve prototyped many crush design ideas to enhance his own trimming business, culminating in the first ‘HTL’ crush that was admired by many. Since those early years, the business has progressed to meet the demands of its customers and is now probably the largest supplier of hooftrimming crushes in the UK.
Together with his wife, Dee, and a dedicated and experienced team, Hooftrimming Ltd. now offers an extensive range of bespoke HTL hooftrimming crushes to suit both farmers and contract trimmers. Using superior engineering and top-quality parts, the HTL brand is recognised across the globe and is regarded by many as being the leader in its fields with an after-sales service to match. We’re also very proud to be one of the very few manufacturers of crushes in the UK. From our warehouse in Tarporley, Cheshire, we also offer a comprehensive range of trimming supplies and accessories at competitive prices.
In 2010 the business further diversified to offer farmers in Cheshire and the surrounding counties with a first-class, highly efficient, and reliable agricultural contracting service, covering everything from cultivations, muck & slurry, grass, maize and wholecrop silaging, hedge cutting and grain crimping/rolling using the most up-to-date and high-tech equipment available. Steve is renowned for being that ‘one step ahead’ in regard to technology and advancements in machinery so the fleet and the services we offer are forever growing. With our own fully equipped workshops, we have also developed many bespoke pieces, such as slurry pipe reelers, humpers, over-road crossings and a fully integrated and advanced slurry pumping trailer, to ensure the services we offer are unrivalled!
